1. About these Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines apply to any material you upload or share to our 2am Club community rooms (“User Content”). They also apply to any contact you make with other users on our site, links to our site and any other ways you use our site.

You must comply with these standards in spirit as well as to the letter.

Bloom for Mums Ltd will determine, in its discretion, whether any User Content or your use of our Service breaches these Community Guidelines.

2. Our promise to you

The 2am Club community rooms are a safe, anonymous space for mothers and pregnant people. We will not tolerate behaviour that makes anyone less safe.

3. You must be 18 or over

If you are under 18, the rooms are not for you — please come back when you are older. If you are worried about your mental health, talk to your GP or call Samaritans on 116 123.

4. What you can do here

  • Share how you are feeling, in your own words.
  • Reply to others with kindness and without judgement.
  • Ask for ideas, signposting or simply to be heard.
  • Use the Report button if a post worries you.
  • Share accurate information (where you are stating facts).

5. What is not allowed

  • Personal attacks, threats, stalking, abuse, harassment, hate speech, discrimination or any other User Content with the purpose of harming or attempting to harm others in any way.
  • Defamatory, obscene, offensive, deceptive, or inflammatory User Content.
  • Promoting self-harm or suicide as a solution. Talking about your own feelings is welcome; instructions or encouragement are not.
  • Promoting any unlawful or criminal acts.
  • Identifying a third party (your partner, child, midwife) by name or detail.
  • Sharing your own identifying details (real name, email, phone number, address).
  • Selling, promoting, advertising or recruiting.
  • Medical advice given as if you were a clinician.
  • Using our Services in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
  • Knowingly sharing any data or directing people to any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.
  • Content that is illegal under UK law or applicable law or regulation, such as terrorism, child and adult sexual exploitation or abuse, pornography, promoting of controlling or coercive behaviour, human trafficking, and fraud and financial offences.

6. How we moderate

Posts are pre-screened. User Content that breaches these Community Guidelines may be hidden or removed, and crisis content is automatically replaced with support resources (for example, Samaritans 116 123 and 999). You can appeal any decision via the in-app Appeals page; we aim to respond within 10 working days. For more information on how to appeal, please refer to our Terms of Use.

7. Crisis support

If you are in danger now, call 999. If you need to talk, call Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7) or text SHOUT to 85258.

For clinical care, please speak to your GP, midwife or health visitor.
